Force Majeure: One
Force Majeure: One
This piece is an excerpted loop from Force Majeure, an ongoing immersive project that transforms meteorological data into haptic, sonic, and visual experiences using real-time systems. The inaugural prototype of the project, it lays the groundwork for a broader investigation into atmospheric perception and embodied data.
Utilizing archival wind data from a hurricane, the work drives a Gaussian splat of a windmill site, digitally reconstructing and gradually dissolving the location through real-time particle systems, data-driven soundscapes, and haptic feedback.
